This week at the Blues Bar... Open Mic Night tonight (Monday20th) Pete Oliver hosts the night featuring loads of talent, loads of noise and a large dollop of sweet sweet music - come down and bring your mates.
Tuesday 21st May a very special treat - these guys rock - from Aberdeen.
" They are a nasty deep blues duo that sounds like a full band. The blues they play is the dirty old Mississippi kind. They sound just like Swampcandy and they will make you stomp feet and clap hands."

The Blues Bar rocks all night - granted - but we open at 10 am every day and offer a great menu for breakfast and lunch. Diane has been serving delicious food during the week ( and SATURDAYS ) for ages and it's working really well - so much so she's NOW OPEN SUNDAY MORNINGS ! Before the bands take over the bar - come and join us for a Full English! Vegetarian options are available ;-)
The Blues Cafe Bar is a great place in the daytime. After Simon and Gundog have worked their magik on the place ( they start repairing and cleaning really early ) it's almost like the night before didn't happen. The bar, and especially the wooden floor, clean up a treat and the view of the stray is always a pleasure.
And, we have a great coffee machine.
