| Graham Charmers does a lot for music in Harrogate from his position at the local paper - highlighting the bands and individuals who play regularly and trying to praise the talented without crushing the potential in others who just don't have it yet. A delicate operation - Charm night is all gravy! He gets to pick his favourites from here and Leeds and around the county and present them to the 'rabble of rowdy rebuls' (that is the blues bar crowd). I think he must love it - the whole shebang is 10 years old now and still as popular as ever. |
